This may mean I will have to buy a PSP.
GoldThane
Straight from the Tokyo Game Show via 1UP and KHInsider comes news on three new titles in the Kingdom Hearts series. The first is a PSP(boo for the fact that I do not yet have one) game by the name of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep. It is claimed to be set in "the distant past" which would make it a prequel to the first three games. It follows a as-of-yet unnamed new protagonist, though it is very possible that he is Terra from the secret ending from KH2+ (the + version was only released in Japan) and appears to feature other characters who were shown in the secret video. From the 1UP report, this game should play very similar to KH1 and KH2.
The second, and decidedly more interesting title is known as 258/2 Days, whatever the hell that is supposed to mean, and is being developed for the, wait for it... Nintendo DS. 1UP does not report any talk of touch-screen features but does mention a 4-player co-op mode which, if done right, could add a new and welcome element to the series. This title seems to not focus on Sora but on Roxas and his allies in Organization XIII and takes place during "the time of the other side", though when that is is yet unclear, although 1UP is presuming that it is pre-KH2.
The third, and least interesting to as North-Americans is one that we may not even see. KH:Coded is being developed for Japanese cell phones. Features Sora and friends and is assumed to also take place between KH1 and KH2.
No dates have yet been released for these three games.
Make sure to check out http://www.khinsider.com/ for more information on all three titles, and I will make sure to keep my ear to the ground and let you know if I hear anything more.
Until next time,

That's right, this be the second post of GoldThane, so sit back, take off your pants and enjoy.
Today, today, today..... we are going to review, why not?
Let's start with movies.
Grindhouse Presents: Deathproof
Let's see, what can I sat about Grindhouse... If you like Quentin Tarantino and car chases you should love this film. As with most of Tarantino's films, Deathproof features many throwbacks to the films he watched when he was growing up, in this case, grindhouse films, which were B-movies that were shown back-to-back in Follows the adventures of Stuntman Mike, a homicidal stuntman who uses his "Deathproof" car as a weapon. This movie goes through several shifts in appearance and theme, starting out as a grindhouse slasher flick (though he uses a car instead of the traditional knife) complete with film scratches and hiccups. From there it goes into a full-throttle car chase film. Great writing, editing and acting by all involved, especially new-to-acting stuntwoman Zoe Bell. Defiantly a must see for anyone who likes kick-ass action movies.
The Condemned
10 prisoners sentenced to death are bought by a millionaire and placed onto an island to fight to the death. The last one alive after 30 hours will be released with cash. Plus, the whole thing is streamed live onto the Internet. There is more of a storyline, but with this kinda movie who really cares about it. The main flaw in the storyline is that they make is very obvious who is going to win pretty early on in the movie ( They focus alot on his girlfriend, former job and so forth but not so much on anyone else's). Do not go into this movie looking for more than an action-fest, for that's all it really is, 10 people kicking each other's asses, blowing up, and shooting each other. As always, Vinnie Jones does a stellar performance, this time as a maniacal ex-SIS agent twisted into homicidal rage by what he has been forced to see and go through as a member of the SIS. If your looking for a night of mindless action then might as well check it out.
And that's it for now. I might do some music reviews and/or anime later.
Ciao,
